Wine Spectator’s Bruce Sanderson details a recent blind tasting he attended at the Guggenheim in June with Vintus’ very own Michael Quinttus. Contrary to standard blind tasting, the tasters where physically blindfolded as a measure to create sensory deprivation from lack of site. The tasting was an event put on to celebrate a lovely, noble project created by the Guggenheim Foundation that Orneallaia is now sponsoring with the proceeds from its Vendemmia d’Artista project called Mind’s Eye. This projects consists of monthly tours and workshops conducted for the blind and visually impaired.
