Sketching Nudes en Plein Air With The New York Academy of Art

Vogue included Champagne Bollinger in its online coverage of the New York Academy of Art’s annual summertime drawing party, where nude models posed outside “in the setting sun in the name of art and fundraising (for the Tribeca-based art school).” The event, which took place at a private Wainscott residence on Friday, July 26, gave high profile attendees the opportunity to take in a sketching tutorial led by artist Alyssa Monks before sitting down to their own easels where “a troupe of nude male and female models awaited them, changing their positions every 15 minutes.” Write Zach Weiss continued, “Elyce Arons, Bob Colacello, BJ Topol, and Brooke Shields all took part in the fun, which was equal parts creative exercise and cocktail party—Bollinger Champagne and miniature lobster rolls made the rounds.” Read the full story HERE

Bollinger is one of the rare Grande Marques that’s still family owned. Known for its rich, elegant and polished style of Champagne, their outstanding wines are the result of rigorous attention to detail and incredibly labor-intensive practices that few houses are willing to undertake. Underscoring its excellence, Bollinger has remained British secret agent James Bond's Champagne of choice since 1973.
